Fog and mist affecting parts of the Tarai are likely to improve gradually by noon on Friday, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

According to the division, a few places in the Tarai of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and many areas across the remaining Tarai belt, experienced fog and mist in the morning. Sudurpaschim Province will see partly cloudy skies, while the weather elsewhere will remain mostly clear during the day.

At night, fog is expected at a few places in the Tarai. Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will be partly cloudy, with mostly clear conditions prevailing in the rest of the country.

The division said there is no significant weather system influencing Nepal at present.
