Light haze and fog are expected in parts of the Tarai today and tonight, while most hill and mountain areas will see fair weather.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, a few places in the Tarai are likely to experience haze during the day. Koshi and Gandaki provinces’ high hill and Himalayan regions may see partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country will remain mainly clear.

Tonight, haze or fog is expected at some locations in the Tarai. Partial cloud cover is forecast for the high hill and Himalayan regions of Koshi, with generally clear conditions elsewhere.

The Division said the current weather pattern is influenced by a weak westerly wind in the upper atmosphere.
