Fog and mist affecting parts of the Tarai are likely to improve by midday on Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

In the afternoon, partial cloud cover is expected in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the weather elsewhere will remain mostly clear.

At night, fog may persist in some Tarai areas. The hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim are expected to see partial cloud cover, with mostly clear conditions in the rest of the country.

The division said the current weather pattern is under the partial influence of westerly winds.
