The Meteorological Forecasting Division said hilly and mountainous areas will be partly to generally cloudy this afternoon, while most other areas will see partly cloudy skies.

Isolated light snowfall is possible in the high hilly and mountainous regions across all provinces, with light rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Some pockets of the Tarai are likely to experience fog or mist, affecting visibility.

Tonight, hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces are expected to be partly cloudy, with mainly clear skies elsewhere. Isolated light snowfall may occur in high hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while fog is expected at some places in the Tarai.

The division said the weather is under the partial influence of westerly winds.
