Fog is expected across most parts of the Tarai on Tuesday, affecting visibility during the day and night, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

In its morning bulletin issued at 8:00am, the division said the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will see partly cloudy conditions during the day, while the rest of the country will remain mainly fair.

Similar conditions are forecast for the night. Most Tarai districts are likely to remain foggy, while the hills and mountains of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will continue to experience partial cloud cover. Weather elsewhere is expected to stay largely clear.

The division said Nepal is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds.
