Dense fog is expected across the Tarai on Wednesday, affecting daily activities, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The division said fog is likely to persist until midday in the Tarai areas of Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces, while other Tarai districts could see fog throughout the day. Hazy conditions are also forecast to continue across the Tarai at night.

In contrast, the weather in the hilly and mountainous regions is expected to remain mainly clear during both the day and night, the division said.
