The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted generally cloudy conditions across Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and other hilly regions today. The Tarai is expected to be partly cloudy.

Light rain or snowfall is likely at one or two places in high hilly and mountainous areas. Tonight, moderate rain or snowfall may occur at a few places in Gandaki and Karnali provinces, while other high hills could see light rain or snowfall.

The division said the weather is influenced by westerly winds and a low-pressure system over the Arabian Sea.
