The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the country will see mostly clear skies over the next 24 hours, with partial cloud cover in the hilly regions.

During the afternoon, hilly areas of all provinces may see brief rain or snowfall at a few places. The rest of the country will remain mainly clear, according to the division.

Tonight, partial cloud cover is expected in the hills. Light rain or snowfall is possible at one or two locations in the hilly and high-mountain areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

The division said westerly winds are having a partial influence over Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces at present.
