The Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Wednesday morning that the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province and other hilly regions, while most parts of the country will see generally clear skies.

There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall in a few places of the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces this afternoon.

Tonight, partly cloudy conditions are expected in Sudurpaschim Province and other hilly areas, with the rest of the country remaining mostly clear. Light rain or snowfall is also possible in a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

According to the division, the weather pattern is currently influenced by a westerly wind over Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
