The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather will remain mostly clear across the country on Thursday, with partial cloud cover over the hilly regions of Koshi Province and other mountainous areas.

Light rain is likely at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi Province during the afternoon.

At night, the weather will stay generally clear across most parts of the country, though partial clouds are expected in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. The Division said light rain could occur at one or two places in these regions.

According to the Division, the western parts of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces are under the influence of westerly winds, while the rest of the country is experiencing weak monsoon and local wind activity.
