The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that most hilly regions across the country will experience generally cloudy conditions on Tuesday, with chances of moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

According to the Division, the sky will remain mostly cloudy in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the Tarai will see partly cloudy skies during the day. Rainfall is likely at several hilly and Tarai locations in these provinces and at a few places elsewhere.

During the night, similar weather is expected in Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with other hilly areas. The rest of the Tarai is forecast to remain partly cloudy, with possible rain at a few places.

Meteorologists said the western wind is currently affecting most parts of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and western Lumbini, as well as some areas of western Gandaki Province. The rest of the country remains under the weak influence of the monsoon system.
