Most parts of the country are expected to remain generally cloudy on Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning is likely in many areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali, while other provinces may see light to moderate rain at isolated spots. Heavy rainfall is possible at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini.

Tonight, skies will stay mostly cloudy over Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati, with partial cloud cover elsewhere. Moderate rain is likely in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki, at a few locations in Lumbini, and at one or two places in other provinces.

The division said monsoon winds and local winds are currently influencing weather conditions across the country.
