Hilly regions of Nepal will see generally cloudy skies this afternoon, while the rest of the country is expected to remain partly cloudy. Light to moderate rain is likely at a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and at one or two locations in other hilly and Tarai regions. Heavy rainfall is possible at isolated places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

Tonight, cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions, including Koshi and Madhesh provinces, while partly cloudy skies will persist elsewhere. Light to moderate rain may occur at scattered locations in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the monsoon’s influence remains weak, with local winds having a partial effect on weather patterns.
