The Meteorological Forecasting Division said on Sunday that Koshi, Bagmati, Madhesh, and Gandaki provinces will see generally cloudy conditions during the day, while the rest of the Tarai is likely to remain partly cloudy.

Moderate rain is likely in some areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, a few places in Madhesh and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places elsewhere. Heavy rainfall is also possible at a few places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.

At night, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies. Moderate rain is expected in a few places of these provinces and at one or two locations in other regions.

According to the division, the influence of monsoon winds has weakened, while local winds are having a partial effect.
