The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are likely to see generally cloudy skies with chances of moderate rainfall in some areas on Saturday afternoon and night.

According to the division, partly cloudy conditions are expected in most Tarai regions, while hilly areas across the country will remain mostly cloudy. Some places in Koshi and Bagmati, a few in Madhesh and Gandaki, and one or two locations in other regions could receive moderate showers.

The division said the monsoon trough is currently lying to the south of its average position in the west and near the normal position in the east.
