The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that skies will remain generally cloudy over Koshi and Madhesh provinces and in the country’s hilly regions on Tuesday afternoon, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions.

Moderate rain is likely at some places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in other hill and Tarai regions including Madhesh Province. One or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki may witness heavy rainfall.

Tonight, skies will remain generally cloudy across the country. Moderate rain is likely at some places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in other hill and Tarai regions. Heavy rainfall is also possible at one or two places in the hilly parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki.

According to the Division, the monsoon trough is currently situated south of the average position in the west and near its normal location in the east.
