The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast generally cloudy skies across the country this afternoon. Moderate rainfall is likely in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in the Tarai regions of other provinces.

Tonight, skies will remain generally cloudy in Koshi Province and other hilly areas, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions.

The Division said moderate rainfall is expected in some hilly areas and at a few places in the Tarai.

According to the Division, the monsoon trough is currently positioned south of its average location.
