The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the country will see generally cloudy conditions this afternoon, with chances of moderate rainfall in some places of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in a few hilly areas and parts of the Tarai.

Tonight, skies will remain mostly cloudy. Moderate rain is likely in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places in the remaining provinces. Heavy rainfall is also possible at one or two hilly locations of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

The Division said the monsoon trough is currently positioned south of its average location.
