The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather will remain generally cloudy across the country on Sunday, with scattered rain expected in several provinces.

In the afternoon, there is a chance of moderate rain in parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places in the hills and Tarai of other provinces. One or two areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim may see heavy rainfall.

At night, moderate rain is likely in the hill areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few places in the hills and Tarai elsewhere. Heavy rain is also possible at one or two locations in Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the division, the monsoon trough is currently positioned near its average location, and moisture flow from the Arabian Sea has slightly increased.
