The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the weather will remain generally cloudy across the country on Saturday, with chances of scattered rainfall in several regions.

According to the Division, moderate rain is likely in some places of the Tarai and hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, a few areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and one or two places in the Tarai during the afternoon.

For tonight, the Division said partly to mostly cloudy conditions will persist nationwide, with moderate rainfall possible in the hilly regions of all provinces and a few places in the Tarai.

The Division added that the monsoon trough is currently positioned near its average location.
