The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that hilly regions will remain generally cloudy on Tuesday, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions.

According to the division, Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with a few hilly areas and isolated parts of the Tarai, may receive moderate rainfall in the afternoon.

Tonight, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are likely to witness moderate showers, with partly cloudy skies expected elsewhere.

The division said the monsoon trough is currently positioned south of its average location in the east and near its normal position in the west.
