Moderate rainfall is likely in many areas of Madhesh Province, as well as in the Tarai and hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and some hilly areas of other provinces. A few Tarai areas elsewhere may also see moderate rain. Heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati.
Tonight, Koshi, Madhesh, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with hilly areas in other provinces, will remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies. Moderate rain is likely in parts of Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in some hilly and Tarai areas of other provinces. Heavy rainfall is expected at one or two places in both the Tarai and hilly regions of Koshi.
According to the Division, the monsoon trough is currently positioned south of its average location, making monsoon activity relatively weak over Nepal. However, moisture-laden winds continue to enter from the Bay of Bengal.
