The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that generally cloudy conditions are expected across the country on Thursday.

There is a likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at a few locations in the remaining provinces. Heavy rainfall is also likely at one or two places in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Light to moderate rain or snowfall is expected at a few locations in the country’s high-hill and mountainous regions. Additionally, brief windstorms are possible in some parts of the Tarai areas of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

During the night, partly to generally cloudy weather will persist across the country. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly areas including Koshi and Madhesh provinces, and at one or two locations elsewhere. Light to moderate rain or snowfall is also expected at a few locations in high-hill and mountainous areas.
