Partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as in the hilly regions of the remaining provinces, on Thursday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The rest of the country is likely to see mainly fair to partly cloudy weather. Light to moderate rain is likely at some places of Koshi Province and a few places in the hilly areas elsewhere. One or two places in the remaining provinces may also receive light rainfall.

During the night, Koshi Province and the hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to mainly fair weather. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at a few places of Koshi Province and at one or two places elsewhere.

According to the Division, monsoon wind is currently active in most parts of Koshi Province, while westerly and local winds are influencing the weather in central and western regions of the country.
