The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions on Tuesday, while the rest of the country will see mainly fair to partly cloudy weather. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hills and at one or two places elsewhere. One or two places in the high-hill and Himalayan regions may receive light rain or snowfall.

During the night, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy over the hilly areas of Madhesh, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the remaining regions will see mainly fair to partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible at a few places in the hilly areas of Madhesh and other provinces, and at one or two places in other regions. One or two locations in the high-hill and Himalayan regions may also witness light rain or snowfall.

According to the division, the current weather pattern is influenced by westerly and local winds, with partial impact from moisture-laden winds coming from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
