The weather across Nepal is currently influenced by a westerly disturbance and local winds, with partial impact from moisture-laden air originating from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

This afternoon, partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, while the weather will remain mostly fair elsewhere.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and at one or two locations in the hilly regions of the other provinces. Light snowfall is also possible at a few locations in high hilly and mountainous areas.

During the night, partly to generally cloudy weather will persist over the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will have mostly clear skies.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Light rain or snowfall may also occur at a few places in high hilly and Himalayan areas.
