The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather across the country is currently being affected by a westerly disturbance, local winds, and partially by moisture-laden air from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.

According to the division, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the day and night.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Light rain and snowfall are also likely at a few places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions.
