According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather on Friday is expected to remain partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly regions across the country, with chances of light to moderate rainfall in some areas and light snowfall in high-altitude regions.

In Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, the high hilly and mountainous regions may witness light snowfall at one or two locations, while hilly areas may experience thundershowers with lightning and light to moderate rain during the day and night. The Terai regions in these provinces are likely to remain partly to mostly cloudy.

In Madhesh, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, the weather in the Terai areas is expected to remain partly cloudy to mainly fair during the day. However, light rain with thunder and lightning is likely at one or two places during the night.

The Division also forecast light snowfall in the high hills of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim during the night, along with isolated thundershowers in the hilly regions.
