The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces may witness light snowfall in one or two places of the high mountain regions on Thursday. Hilly areas of these provinces are likely to experience partial to generally cloudy conditions with chances of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few locations during the day.

In the night, light snowfall is likely in one or two places of the high mountain regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, while light rain is possible in some hilly areas of these provinces.

Tarai regions across all provinces, including Madhesh, are expected to have partly cloudy to mainly fair weather both during the day and at night.
