The Meteorological Forecasting Division said weather on Wednesday is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, with chances of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places.
Light snowfall is likely at one or two locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim during the day and night.
The Tarai regions of all provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy to mainly fair throughout the day and night. Meanwhile, weather in Madhesh Province is likely to be mostly clear.
No significant weather activity is expected in most parts of the country on Wednesday night.
