Most provinces across Nepal are expected to witness partly to generally cloudy weather in the hilly and mountainous regions on Monday, with chances of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

In Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, the mountainous regions are likely to receive light snowfall during the day and night. Hilly areas in these provinces may experience brief thundershowers at a few places. The Tarai region, however, will remain mostly clear with partly cloudy skies in the afternoon.

Madhesh Province is expected to have partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions throughout the day and night.

The division has urged travellers in high-altitude and hilly areas to take precautions due to possible weather-related disruptions.
