The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that most parts of the country are likely to witness partial to moderate cloud cover on Sunday, with chances of light rainfall and snowfall in some regions.

In Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, the hilly and mountainous regions are expected to see partial to generally cloudy skies during the day. Light snowfall is likely at one or two places in the high mountains, while some hilly and Tarai areas may experience light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning. Similar conditions are expected to persist at night.

In Karnali Province, partial to moderate cloud cover is forecast in the Himalayan and hilly regions during both day and night. One or two places in the mountains may receive light snowfall, and isolated hilly areas may see brief rain with thunder.

Madhesh Province is expected to remain partly to moderately cloudy during the day with a chance of light rainfall with thunder at one or two locations in the Tarai. Nighttime conditions will remain partly cloudy.

The Division has advised the public, especially those in mountainous and hilly areas, to remain alert due to possible weather-related disturbances.
