Light to moderate rainfall is currently occurring in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The weather remains partly to generally cloudy over the hilly regions, while other areas are experiencing mostly fair to partly cloudy conditions. The current weather pattern is influenced by westerly winds, local winds, and moisture-laden air entering from the Arabian Sea.

On Saturday, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely in a few places of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces, as well as in some hilly regions elsewhere. There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall in a few areas of high hills and mountainous regions.

The widespread haze observed across the country in recent days is expected to gradually decrease. The division has advised people to remain cautious, as thunderstorms, rainfall, and snowfall could affect health, daily life, agriculture, road, and air transport.
