The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said the country is experiencing a partial influence of the western disturbance.

The weather remains partly cloudy in Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in hilly areas, while the rest of the country has mainly clear skies.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in a few places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces. Light snowfall is also likely in some high-altitude and Himalayan areas.

The division has urged the public to take necessary precautions as the weather conditions could affect daily life, agriculture, health, road, and air transport.
