The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that a westerly low-pressure system and local winds are affecting the country's weather.

Koshi, Bagmati, and Madhesh provinces, along with hilly regions, are experiencing partial to moderate cloud cover, while other areas have clear weather. Light rain with thunder and lightning has been recorded in a few places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces.

During the day, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will see partial to moderate cloud cover, with light rain and thunderstorms likely in some areas. Light snowfall is expected in high-altitude areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

At night, Koshi province will have partial cloud cover, while other regions will remain clear. Some places in Koshi could see light rain and snowfall in high-altitude areas.

The division has urged caution, stating that rainfall and snowfall could have minor impacts on daily life, agriculture, health, roads, and aviation.
