The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the country is experiencing the partial influence of a westerly disturbance and local winds.

According to the division, Koshi and Madhesh provinces, along with the hilly regions, are witnessing partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country has mostly clear weather.

This afternoon, skies will remain partly to generally cloudy nationwide, with light rain and thunderstorms likely in some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. Light snowfall is expected in a few places in high-altitude and Himalayan regions.

Tonight, Koshi and Madhesh provinces, along with the hilly regions, will see partly to generally cloudy weather, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Light rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas of Koshi and Madhesh and a few hilly regions.
