The influence of westerly and local winds is causing partial cloud cover in the hilly regions, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

During the day, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will see partly to generally cloudy skies, with light rain and thunderstorms possible in some hilly areas. Light snowfall is expected in a few higher-altitude and Himalayan regions.
