The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the country is experiencing the partial influence of a westerly disturbance and local winds, with partly cloudy to mostly clear weather across Nepal.

According to the division, hilly regions will see generally cloudy conditions this afternoon, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Light snowfall is likely in a few places in high-altitude and mountainous areas. Some places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, as well as one or two places in the hilly regions of other provinces, may experience light rain with thunder and lightning.

Tonight, hilly regions will remain partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will have mostly clear weather. Light snowfall is possible in one or two places in high-altitude and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

The division has warned that light rain and snowfall may have a partial impact on daily life, health, road transport, and aviation and has urged caution.
