The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that the country is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds.

According to the department, there is partial to general cloud cover in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in hilly areas, while the rest of the country has mainly clear weather.

There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in high-altitude and Himalayan regions. Likewise, one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may experience light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

The department has advised the public to take necessary precautions, as these weather conditions could have a minor impact on daily life, health, road, and air transport.
