The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of a westerly low-pressure system over the country. While hilly areas are experiencing partly to generally cloudy conditions, the rest of the country remains mostly clear.

Light rain is occurring in some places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. In the afternoon, hilly areas of Koshi will see partly to generally cloudy conditions, while those in Bagmati and Gandaki will remain partly cloudy.

There is a likelihood of light snowfall in some high-altitude areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Thunderstorms and light rain are expected in some hilly areas of Koshi.

The division has urged caution, as the weather may impact daily activities, health, and transportation.
