The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported a weak influence of a westerly low-pressure system in Nepal, causing partly cloudy conditions in hilly areas. The rest of the country has clear weather, with some parts of the Tarai experiencing light fog.

During the day and night, hilly areas will remain partly cloudy, while other regions will have clear skies.

Light snowfall is expected in one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

In the next 24 hours, these areas may see light snowfall, while some parts of the Tarai could experience light fog on Friday morning. The department has advised caution as these conditions may slightly impact daily life, health, road transport, and aviation.
