The Meteorological Forecasting Division has stated that a weak westerly low-pressure system is currently affecting the country, with partial cloud cover over the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. The rest of the country has clear weather.

According to the forecast, partial cloud cover will persist in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces during the day, while other regions will remain clear. At night, only the hilly areas of Koshi Province are expected to have partial clouds, with the rest of the country experiencing clear skies.

The division has also warned of light fog in some areas of the Tarai on Thursday morning, which could impact daily life, health, road transport, and aviation. Authorities have been urged to take the necessary precautions.
