A westerly disturbance is partially influencing Nepal’s weather, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Currently, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing partly to generally cloudy conditions, while Lumbini Province has partial cloud cover. The rest of the country has mostly clear weather.

Light rainfall is occurring in one or two places in Sudurpaschim Province, with a possibility of continued light rain in some areas, the department said.

It added that light snowfall is expected in a few high-altitude locations of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, which may impact daily life, health, and transportation. Authorities have advised precautionary measures.
