Some places in the Tarai may experience fog, while isolated areas in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces could see light rainfall with thunder and lightning. Light snowfall is expected in a few locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions.

Tonight, partial to moderate cloud cover is likely in hilly areas, while other regions will remain partly cloudy to clear. The high hills and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces may receive light snowfall.

Over the next 24 hours, light rain with thunder and lightning is possible in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while snowfall may continue in higher elevations. The department has urged caution due to potential impacts on daily life, health, and transportation.
