The Weather Forecasting Division has said that the country is experiencing the partial impact of a western disturbance and low-pressure system, with cloudy conditions in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Other regions remain partly cloudy to mostly clear, while some areas of the Terai are experiencing fog.
Light snowfall is expected in a few locations in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The division has urged caution as fog in some Tarai areas could affect daily life, health, road, and air transport.
