The Meteorological Forecasting Division said that the country is currently experiencing the influence of a westerly wind. The hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are witnessing partly to generally cloudy conditions.

Elsewhere, the weather remains mostly clear, but dense fog has developed in many parts of the Tarai.

Light rainfall is expected in one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, light snowfall is likely in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The division has warned that foggy conditions in the morning in many parts of the Tarai and valleys could impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and flights, urging the public to take necessary precautions.
