The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that a westerly disturbance is currently influencing Nepal’s weather, primarily affecting the western region.

Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing partly cloudy conditions in their hilly areas, while the weather in the rest of the country remains mostly clear. Many areas in the Terai are covered in fog or mist.

Light snowfall is expected in a few high-altitude and mountainous areas of Karnali Province today, the division added.
