Light snowfall is expected in higher hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces due to the influence of westerly winds. Some areas in these provinces may also experience light rainfall, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The division said partial cloud cover is likely in the high hills and mountainous regions of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the weather in other regions remains mostly clear.

Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces are expected to see generally cloudy skies, whereas other areas will have partly cloudy to mostly clear weather.

The division has also advised caution, as dense fog in the morning is likely to impact daily life, health, transportation, and flights, particularly in the Tarai.
