The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported a mild influence of western winds across Nepal. Currently, the hilly and mountainous regions of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country remains mostly clear. Some areas in the central and western Terai are witnessing foggy conditions.

During the day, partly to generally cloudy conditions are expected in the mountainous and hilly regions, with the Terai likely to remain mostly clear. At night, similar patterns of partial to general cloudiness are forecast for the hills and mountains, while the Terai is predicted to stay mostly clear.

Morning fog is expected in many parts of the Terai and valleys, which could disrupt daily life, health, transportation, and flights. The division has urged the public to exercise caution.
