The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the country is currently experiencing the partial influence of a western disturbance and a low-pressure system. As of now, hilly regions are partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the country remains partly cloudy to mostly clear. Some areas of the Tarai are covered with fog or mist.

This afternoon, hilly areas of Gandaki and Koshi provinces are expected to have partly cloudy to mainly clear skies, with mostly clear weather predicted for the rest of the country.

Tonight, hilly regions of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces will experience partly to generally cloudy skies, while other areas will remain mostly clear. Light snowfall is expected in one or two high-altitude locations in Gandaki Province.
